Pacific Properties has been a local company since 1979 and in this time we have received tremendous support from the locals of the area! To this day the majority of our buyers are still local Yeppoon and Rockhampton families; that is the market we aim for and we are very pleased that we can provide a product that suits local families.
Because of the support we receive from locals, we feel it is extremely important to give something back to the area. Below are some of the sponsorships we have done over the last 10 years. We are looking forward to continuing to help out community organisations, non-profit groups and local schools during the lifetime of The Shoals at Lammermoor Beach project.
Pacific Properties recently made two donations to local organisations:
In 2005, Pacific Properties Queensland formed a partnership with the Yeppoon Outrigging Club and the $13,000 partnership enabled the Club to purchase a brand new outrigging vessel.
Outrigging is a popular outdoor water sport and Pacific Properties is proud to be a partner of an organisation that fosters fitness and encourages the enjoyment of the beautiful Capricorn Coast environment.
Yeppoon State High School
Students of Yeppoon State High football team received smart new jerseys and training shirts each year, thanks to a partnership formed in 2005 between the school and Pacific Properties.
Pacific Properties Project Manger, Ravi Setu, is a former student of the school and is committed to being involved with the school and partnering with the community at a student level.
Water is an issue that is close to the heart of Pacific Properties. Many of Pacific Properties’ projects are near the water, opposite the beach or near a lake, so it was logical that Pacific Properties would become a regional partner of the Healthy Waterways campaign.
Healthy Waterways is a program of the Moreton Bay Waterways & Catchments Partnership which created the vision of healthy waterways for the future. Healthy Waterways works with government, community, industry, researchers and traditional owners throughout Queensland to improve the health, wealth and beauty of our waterways and catchments.
On 13th September 2004, Pacific Properties created a first for developers in the Capricorn Coast region by forming a partnership with environmental group Greening Australia.
In forming the partnership, Pacific Properties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that enabled it to access Greening Australia’s environmental management expertise for the benefit of their estates and other Pacific Properties projects.
Pacific Properties believes the partnership will be an asset to the company during the creation of its present and future projects.
In 2008, at Greening Australia’s 25 year celebrations, Pacific Properties was the only private company to receive an award for environmental initiatives in property developments, something we are very proud of!
Greening Australia – Land for Wildlife
In 2005, Pacific Properties strengthened its partnership with environmental group Greening Australia with a commitment of $30,000 towards the group’s Land for Wildlife program.
The Land for Wildlife program focused on involving the local community in on-ground environmental initiatives and Pacific Properties’ $30,000 three-year sponsorship helped to support the program in the Capricorn Coast region.
